Sarah Snook was born on 28 July 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia. She studied in Blair at St John’s Grammar School and due to her acting skills she got a scholarship at Scotch College, Mitcham. After completing her high school, she went to National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) and graduated in 2008.
When Sarah was at NIDA, she performed in some stage productions like Macbeth and Gallipoli. She was then associated with the State Theatre Company of South Australia and acted in King Lear. Recently, in 2016 she made her West End debut from Ibsen’s play The Master Builder at the Old Mic Theatre in London.
